new tv series of Torchwood very, very shortly. Just finished listening to the third radio play, liked.

Am wondering how much of last season's parallels to B7 was a deliberate act, and if there's going to be any more of that...

Hey, we rented the second season, and my husband really liked it... He could even deal with the pretty boys kissing ;p

Thanks for the recommendation!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. If you haven't seen the first season, I'd recommend you take a look at it. It's a lot patchier than the second one and deeply annoying in places, but there are also some episodes that are absolute gems, and there are a couple of things in the second season you won't fully understand without the backstory from first season -- e.g. you'll miss one of the emotional layers in Ianto's section of Fragments if you haven't seen Cyberwoman.

Ergh. I'm not sure if I want to see something that is deeply annoying ;p I kept finding myself getting annoyed at the ridiculously large body count. I may or may not watch the first season.

I thought the first and third radio plays were the best and was looking forward to the series.
Wasn't disappointed. Rather blown away in fact. It has plot, it has intrigue, it has Jack being a Ruthless Bastard, it has twists. It has Peter Capaldi! Looking forward to next one.
Did you enjoy?
