Well, first draft finished, at any rate. I still need to go through to polish and tidy up, which may take a few days given that I've got a mild dose of tonsillitis and not much in the way of attention span. But I should be putting it out to the crit group before I go to Eastercon.
Part 3 finished at 25634 words, so the whole thing is 53 kwords in total. I've also got an idea for a smut-free short that I could write as a promotional freebie for what would be Mark's 30th birthday (which if you pay attention to clues in the book is May 2008). It's not actually part of this sequel sequence, but if I write it it could probably be added to the book as an extra after I've put it on the website. I'll need to check with my editor whether that's feasible.
I have spent almost exactly six months writing this book, which is a long time for such a short book. OTOH, I had *distractions* while I was writing it...
